Easy to Use

ACECAPS® contain 98.9% Orthene®, a non-restricted use systemic insecticide, so no special equipment or protective clothing is required. They are an ideal treatment for trees that are difficult to spray because of their location (near people, pets, waterways, etc.) or are too large to reach easily.

Versatile

Systemics work within the tree and are not affected by wind or rain. Requiring no measuring, mixing or spraying, implants are a practical approach to an integrated tree pest management program.

I used this product on an ash tree that was very stressed. Next year it came back very healthy. Many other trees in the area died but this tree thrived after treatment.

I live in Central Mississippi and have two 20-year-old pecan trees. In 2014 the webworm infestation around here was horrible. It was so bad that it killed numerous pecan trees. Very early spring 2015 I implanted the ACECAP plugs in both my trees and I had no webworms, and in 2016 I only had 2 very small infestations. I’ll buy the ACECAP plugs again to implant for 2017! This really works!
